Well, well, well, was'nt I the surprised littlie cookie when I picked this book up and started to read it. I fell right into the story, right into the town and right into Eilis.

I think that there is a little bit of Eilis in every Irish woman. This is a wonderful read that moves forward at a great pace, so soft and gentle almost with sweet tender insights into a young girl's heart.
