This book has been a personal Bible for me since the time I first read it. It helps to question some of our most deep-seated beliefs, ideas, opinions and illusions about life and how we are meant to live it. This book is not for you if you're convinced the world really is how you see it and you possess all the answers you need, but, on the other hand, if you're puzzled by how and why people can look at the same things in life and have totally different ideas about them, and how we're all convinced that our perception is the right one, then you should read this book. It is a liberating experience. I find myself returning regularly to this fountain of clear, fresh ideas, and it never fails to jolt me out of the ordinary "sleep state" in which most of us spend most of our lives, and make me at least temporarily wake up and realise how much energy I waste on worrying about unimportant, irrelevant, and even ridiculous things.
