When I first started reading the Southern Vampire Mysteries back in 2004, I devoured each book as it was published. The series stays constantly fresh as different creatues are introduced throughout. Now that we are on book 9, with a volume of short stories also published, I can't imagine where the author is going to take Sookie next. All I know is, roll on May 2010 and book 10.
