The Lyrics to the Nightingale's Song is the sixth collection of poems by Limerick born poet Tim Cunningham. Cunningham has been described by poet Knute Skinner , as 'among the very best English-language poets of his generation' .
The book is published by Revival Press as part of the Limerick Writers' Centre’s Community Publishing initiative.
Tim Cunningham was born in Limerick and educated at C.B.S., Limerick, and Birkbeck College, London. He has worked, mainly in education, in Dublin, London, Delaware and Essex. This, his sixth collection, coincides with the centenary of his father's birth in 1916.
