Delivery & Returns

Due to COVID-19 and uncertainty in the supply chain, we regret that we are not currently able to fulfil orders destined outisde of Ireland or United Kingdom

Store Collection

If you choose to use our free In Store Collection Service, please bring your confirmation email and the credit card that the order was placed with for verification. You will receive an email when your order is ready for collection (we endeavour to have orders ready for pick up within 1-2 working days).

Limerick City O'Connell Street pick-up: Collection point is in the Reference Dept. on the upper ground floor between 10am and 5pm Monday to Saturday. Please have your order number ready.

Tralee pick-up: Collection point is at the school counter between 10am and 5pm Monday to Saturday. Please have your order number ready.

Ennis pick-up: Collection point is at the school counter between 10am and 5pm Monday to Saturday. Please have your order number ready.

University of Limerick pick-up: University of Limerick pickup is unavailable until Semester 1, 2021

NUI Galway pick-up: NUI Galway pickup is unavailable until Semester 1, 2021

Schoolbook Online Orders

During the months of June, July and August, we receive an exceptionally high volume of online orders for school supplies. During this time, these orders can take between 3-5 working days to fulfil.

Once your order is placed, we will endeavour to pick your order within the following 24-48 hours.

You will receive regular email updates at each step of the way, as your order moves through our online processing procedure, from order confirmation, to order processing, and through to despatch.

If you choose the home delivery option, you will receive a separate email from our courier partners once they pick up your package from us. This email will contain a link, allowing you track your parcel. Changes to the order cannot be made once it has been despatched.

Shortages & Damages

Any shortages and/or damaged items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery via email. O’Mahony’s will not be responsible for any shortages and/or damaged items not reported within 24 hours, and by the advised method.

Returns Policy

If you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase within 14 days for a refund (delivery and/or book covering charges will not be refunded). Goods need to be in original packaging and in a saleable condition (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact). The returned parcel must include the original order number with your contact details (the order number is the 6-digit number at the top left-hand side of your invoice. We recommend that you use a recorded delivery service, as we cannot be responsible for the non-delivery of returned items. If you require additional items, a new order will need to be placed on our website.

eBooks - Any title now sold with a free eBook code, cannot be returned if the code has been removed, scratched or accessed. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that the correct products are delivered to you, occasionally mistakes can happen, in this event please email us detailing the issue along with the order number. Cancellation or return of items purchased with a coupon may result in the forfeiture of such coupons. By purchasing from O’Mahony’s, you agree that a full refund with paid delivery will be your sole and exclusive remedy for any product you receive that is not as described on the O’Mahony’s website, and you waive all other remedies or actions in such event. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Our Courier Partners

We use An Post for all orders within Ireland. Overseas orders will be shipped via courier or An Post.

We endeavour to fulfil & ship all orders within 2-4 working days. Email updates will be sent advising of the order status.

An Post delivers between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday and will make one attempt to deliver your parcel. If you are not there to accept the parcel, it will be returned to the nearest An Post Depot (details will be on the card left in your letterbox), you will need to collect your parcel within 5 working days. If an order needs to be re-delivered as a result of non-delivery/non-collection through no fault of O’Mahony’s, a subsequent charge may apply. Ideally deliver to your place of work for the fastest delivery and a signature will be required.
