As a photographer for Spotlight Magazine, Michael O'Reilly saw the very best of the Sixties. He was there to document the hysteria the showbands inspired as they rolled between iconic venues like the Television Club and Bray's Arcadia Ballroom. He was on hand to witness the emergence of the Irish folk and rock scenes. And he was among the first to be called into action when major overseas acts visited Dublin from London or New York. Blending dynamic live shots with intimate portraits and candids, Dancehall Days is a collection of over 300 stunning black-and-white photographs drawn from Michael's personal archive.
